Hearts Behind Heroes Foundation exists to provide support, resources, encouragement, and community connections for the spouses and families of first responders. By strengthening the home front, we help strengthen the heroes who serve us all.
Founded on a vision born from recognizing an unmet need, our mission is simple: ensure that the families behind our heroes never stand alone.
Whether through educational resources, support programs, community outreach, or financial assistance during times of hardship, we are committed to caring for those who care for our heroes.

At Hearts Behind Heroes Foundation, our mission begins in Polk County, Florida, where we proudly support the spouses and families of the first responders who serve and protect our community every day.
We recognize that behind every badge, uniform, and emergency call is a family carrying the unique challenges and sacrifices that come with a life of service. Our current focus is on building meaningful support, resources, and connections for these local hero families right here at home.
While our heart is set on serving first responder families wherever they may be, we believe lasting impact starts within our own community. As our foundation grows, so will our reach. Our vision is to one day expand our programs and support services to neighboring communities and beyond, ensuring that more hero families receive the care, encouragement, and assistance they deserve.

A Message From Our Founder
Why Hearts Behind Heroes Exists
This organization was created with one purpose: to support the hearts behind the heroes — the spouses, families, and support systems of first responders who so often pour from empty cups while serving everyone around them.
I know the road ahead will not be easy. Building a nonprofit from the ground up requires faith, sacrifice, visibility, partnerships, and financial support. Right now, one of our biggest challenges is simply getting the word out and raising the funds necessary to turn this vision into real, lasting impact within our community.
Hearts Behind Heroes exists because unseen sacrifices still deserve support — and we will build the kind of support system families should never have had to go without. This began as a vision. It became a responsibility to my young son and my firefighter husband the moment I stopped waiting for someone else to do it.
I do not have all the answers yet. But I do have conviction, faith in this mission, and a deep belief that our community will stand behind the families who spend their lives standing behind others.
